RESOURCES FOR THOSE SEEKING AND NEEDING CHRIST’S KINGDOM ON EARTH
ZionWorks’ purpose is to be a gathering and cooperative for all those who desire to live by celestial principles on the earth. This desire is expressed by Jesus in the Lord’s prayer, “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Having been told to “…Come out of her (Babylon), my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues”, we see the necessity to disconnect from all lifestyles that will not lead to the Kingdom.
We see the necessity to disconnect from anything that cannot pass the test implied by Christ’s statement, “No unclean thing can enter into the kingdom of Heaven.” If the socio-economic system of this land cannot pass the test, we are to “get out of her.” This means that we must be able to physically sustain ourselves independently, helping each other to live productively, free, happy and healthy as our Maker has always intended for this land. Presently, some are called to build His kingdom conditions on earth and some are called to flee to it.
In recognizing the present urgency for this Kingdom condition, we do not lose sight of the vital responsibility the church has to teach the gospel of Jesus Christ and lead people to Him. The church must be kept spiritually and physically alive. Its people must be kept alive so there can BE a church.
When “all systems fail”, we will still need sources of safe water, nutritious food, sanitation, transportation, safety from disease, home heat, cooking heat, shelter, communication, the ability to gather and all aspects of healthy, happy life.
Also, we are called to live abundantly. The lifestyle Jesus desires for us is no less than his kingdom on the earth. This is the reason ZionWorks has specific teams (water, food, sanitation heat, etc.); it is a response to Christ’s call. Please investigate ZionWorks and visit us at any ZionWorks meeting or event.
INTERESTING AND RESOURCEFUL INFORMATION
Yesterday morning, I googled “Growing vitamin C in zone 6” and encountered a site called ruralsprout.com and read one of their many articles. This one was titled “Grow Your Vitamins–20 Most Nutrient Dense Veggies to Grow in Your Garden”.
It was a delightful article on growing nutrient-dense vegetables and even had recipes. I quickly browsed the other 40 articles. It was a really nice place to visit. There was no info on growing chocolate, however.
SurvivalBlog.com is an incredibly resourceful site. I strongly recommend holding your cursor over their menu option “Archives”, then clicking on “Category and Date Archives” This patriotic and Christian site has been in existence for many years and has compiled an incredible amount of vital info. They exist by donation and I recommend donating because of the amazing and conscientious work they do.
